UAE Sports for All Federation and UAE Billiards Federation Sign MoU to Strengthen Sports and Community Cooperation

The UAE Billiards Federation and the UAE Sports for All Federation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation on the sidelines of the “UAE Billiards Teams League” workshop, marking a new step toward strengthening collaboration and supporting joint sports and community initiatives.

The signing ceremony was attended by H.H. Sheikh Juma bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, along with a number of senior officials and leading figures from the UAE sports sector.

The agreement was signed by H.E. Yousef bin Karam, Vice President of the UAE Billiards Federation, and H.E. Saeed Ali Al Ajal, President of the UAE Sports for All Federation.

The ceremony was also attended by H.E. Sheikh Suhail bin Butti Al Maktoum, Assistant Undersecretary for the Sports Development and Competitiveness Sector at the Ministry of Sports, and H.E. Fares Mohammed Al Mutawa, Secretary General of the UAE National Olympic Committee.

The Memorandum of Understanding aims to broaden areas of cooperation between the two federations, enhance the exchange of expertise, and make effective use of available resources and capabilities. It also seeks to support the development and implementation of joint programmes and initiatives that encourage wider participation in sport and promote community engagement.

Both federations highlighted the importance of the partnership in unifying efforts and sharing expertise to support the development of billiards and community sports, while attracting more participants and talents and expanding the reach of sporting activities across different segments of society.

The agreement also reflects the ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and integration among sports organisations and federations in the UAE, in line with the country’s ambitions for continued growth and development of the sports sector.

Through this partnership, both federations reaffirmed their commitment to building sustainable cooperation that can be translated into high-quality initiatives and programmes serving UAE sport and the wider community, while helping to make sport an essential part of everyday life.
