The UAE National Minifootball Team is competing in the 2026 Asian Minifootball Nations Cup, taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 13 to 18 September 2026, with the team aiming to challenge for the Asian title and secure qualification for the WMF World Cup 2027 in the Czech Republic.

The UAE Billiards Federation and the UAE Sports for All Federation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation on the sidelines of the “UAE Billiards Teams League” workshop, marking a new step toward strengthening collaboration and supporting joint sports and community initiatives.

The Minifootball Executive Committee, operating under the UAE Sports for All Federation, held an introductory and organisational meeting for the 2026–2027 mini football season on 9 September 2026 at the UAE National Olympic Committee headquarters in Dubai.
