Ahmed Al Kaabi and Mohammed Murad were crowned champions of the Dubai Foosball Championship in the doubles category, following a competitive tournament organised by the UAE Sports for All Federation at iZone Centre in Dubai.
The championship brought together 20 players competing in the doubles category, with Ayman Khalaf and Al Moataz Abu Zaid securing second place, while Salem Rashid and Ali Al Shamsi finished third.
The tournament featured a series of competitive preliminary rounds, with participants progressing through the qualification stages before advancing to the final rounds, where the leading teams were determined based on their overall performance and points accumulated throughout the competition.
The championship forms part of ongoing preparations for the UAE’s participation in the upcoming Gulf Foosball Championship, scheduled to take place in Dubai in November.
The UAE Sports for All Federation confirmed that competitions will continue throughout the week as part of the process of evaluating players and identifying potential candidates for selection to the UAE national team ahead of the Gulf championship.
The tournament reflects the Federation’s efforts to develop foosball in the UAE, provide players with further competitive opportunities, and strengthen preparations for upcoming regional competitions.
