Netball has been played in the United Arab Emirates for over 40 years. Structured leagues and coaching pathways have contributed to the growth of clubs and athlete development across the country.

In 2017, a National Governing Body was established to further develop the sport, and since 2018, UAE Netball has been a member of Europe Netball and World Netball. This affiliation enabled UAE teams to compete internationally at U17 and Open levels.

UAE Netball operates under the UAE Sports for All Federation, working to promote the sport across all age groups and skill levels, while expanding international participation and hosting competitions in the UAE.
