In cooperation with United Arab Emirates Sports For All Federation and under patronage of Sharjah Sports Council, Al Zaidh Sports Cultural Club organized the event (We-Are-All-Zayed Marathon) on the occasion of the end of Year of Zayed.

The marathon kicked off at Seih Al Mahab toward Sharjah University, Al Zaidh Branch, where assembly started at 4.00 PM. Shirts were distributed to participants (men) and (youths) and (children).

The marathon started at four thirty afternoon with follow-up by the Organizing Committee, and it was broadcast by Middle Region TV Channel, amid large spectators including the Middle Region’s locals and Sharjah clubs fans.

In the end, H.E. Salem Mohamed Bin Hoyden Al Kitbi Chairman of Al Zaidh Club Board of Directors welcomed and thanked the participants and those who contributed to the success of this marathon, as it symbolized loyalty to the founding leader Zayed, May he rest in peace. He also thanked the United Arab Emirates Sports For All Federation’s authority and Sharjah Sports Council for their kind patronage of the club’s activities. Afterward, Bin Hoyden and H.E. Hameed Abdulla Belsadria Al Khateri deputy chairman of Board of Directors honored the winners and distributed the prizes to them. The honoring included Al Zaidh Police and Middle Region TV for their valuable contribution to the success of the club’s events.

Honoring Ceremony was also attended by Mr. Khalifa Mubarak Dalmoc – Chairman of Cultural and Community Development Community at Al Zaidh Club, and Dr. Hamoud Khalfa Salem the executive director of Al Zaidh Club, and Ms. Mai Hasan from United Arab Emirates Sports For All Federation.
